Delivery Services
We offer door-to-door courier service via our trusted partnerships with uAfrica.com.
Once your order is placed, we’ll wrap your order with love and care, before it’s whisked on its way to you as quickly as possible. We aim to dispatch your order in less than 1 working day from when your order is placed. We pack and ship orders daily, so be sure to lookout for our email with your tracking number, so you can easily track your order online.
Please note: During busy periods such as sales, promotions and calendar events, turnaround can take slightly longer.

FREE DELIVERY
Yes! We’re so excited to offer free delivery via our trusted courier services on orders over R950 to anywhere in South Africa.
On small baskets under R950, we offer a standard courier service at a cost of just R95 to deliver anywhere in South Africa.
DELIVERY TIMES
Delivery within Cape Town takes between 1 and 2 working days and all other areas outside of Cape Town between 2 and 3 working days.
Delivery Information
CHANGE TO YOUR ORDER
Once your order is scheduled for delivery, we are unable to make any changes. Please double check that your delivery address details are correct at checkout. Should you enter the wrong address, unfortunately we will need to re-charge for delivery if your order is returned to us. Should an order be returned to us undelivered, we’ll inform you of this and we can either re-charge for delivery and resend your order or we can process a refund, deducting the shipping costs.
TRACKING YOUR ORDER
No need to wait in anticipation. It’s easy to track your order. Once your order is scheduled for delivery, we’ll send you an order confirmation email which will include your tracking number. Some email service providers consider these automated emails as spam, so please check your spam folder in case the message has ended up there. Using your tracking number, you can track your order on the Order Tracking page every step of the way.
SIGNING FOR DELIVERIES
When you’ve placed your order, you’ll be asked for a physical address that is normally occupied during office hours. Please note that we cannot deliver to a PO Box address. Please include a mobile number in case the courier service provider needs to reach you. If you have any specific delivery times or instructions (within regular office hours / business days / delivery times and areas), then please include at checkout under notes. The courier service provider will require a signature for the delivery of your order. The standard hours of delivery are between 9 am and 5 pm, Monday to Friday. If the courier service provider is unable to complete a delivery at the address specified, either due to an incorrect delivery address or the unavailability of yourself or assigned persons to accept your order, within regular delivery times, we may at our discretion charge a delivery fee (equal to or lower than our standard delivery charges) for the subsequent delivery of your order.
INSURANCE
All orders are insured against theft and accidental damage whilst in transit from Make Believe Co. headquarters to the delivery address. Once your order has been delivered to the specified address and signed for either by yourself or a recipient at the delivery address, your order is no longer covered by insurance.
LOST ORDER
If you feel your order has been lost in transit, please contact us with your order number so that we can get this sorted out as soon as possible for you.
RECEIVED INCORRECT ITEM
Whilst extra care is taken in packing your orders, should you receive an incorrect item due to human error, please contact us. We will arrange for the correct item to be sent out to you immediately and collect the incorrect item when we deliver the correct item to you.
